Figure Skating Session – Open 1
October 11 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
$7.00 – $15.00This session is for practising figure skating elements only. Newer skaters must have completed a full block of beginner lessons and be able to manouvre around other skaters and do skid stops (eg snow plough, side stop) on the ice to avoid collisions. You will need your own figure skates.
All those attending must familiarise themselves with the Right of Way Rules contained in the Code of Conduct.
Private lesson skaters must be at novice level or above. Lessons via Zoom or other online media are not permitted during Club sessions.
Wear appropriate clothing and gloves, and consider protective gear such as crash pants and knee guards. Jeans, flared/wide legged pants, extra long pants, or pants with ties/drawstrings at base of leg are not allowed to be worn on the ice.
Headphones/earbuds are not permitted to be worn on the ice during club sessions.
Children under the age of 12 may not be left unattended during club sessions.
