Powerskating

Powerskate classes are high-energy conditioning classes. On-ice agility and strength are foundational to good figure skating, and these classes are intended to provide skaters with exercises and skills to develop & improve their balance, power, strength, edges and endurance. Both Figure and Hockey skaters can benefit significantly from these classes.
Skaters must be at Advanced level or above and have back crossovers, forward 3-turns, 2-foot back 3-turns, and mohawks.
The rink fee has been incorporated into the cost for this class so you will not be required to pay at the counter.
If this class has sold out we may be able to run a second class at the earlier time of 7.45am to 8.45am if we have sufficient numbers. Please email us at wellingtonfigureskating@gmail.com to be put on a waiting list.
