Join us for our final figure skating sessions for the year for our members and skate school students. Dressing up is optional, but we’d love to see you in your sparkliest skating outfit or your Christmas dress-up.
This is a social skating event for skaters at all levels – Beginner skaters should have completed a term of beginner lessons, or can skate unassisted and stop on the ice.
Things to note:
- Please skate in an anti-clockwise direction around the rink and avoid crossing through the centre of the ice where skaters may be doing jumps or spins.
- As this session is for all levels of skaters it caters towards our newer skaters. Senior skaters should modify their skating for the level of the session, and should only perform basic single jumps if it is safe to do so. No camel spins, back spirals or lutz should be performed in this session.
- Skaters from Beginner through to Basic level must wear a helmet.
- Please familiarise yourself/your child with the Right of Way Rules contained in the Code of Conduct
- Wear appropriate clothing and gloves, and consider protective gear such as crash pants, knee guards or helmets.
- Jeans, flared/wide legged pants, extra long pants, or pants with ties/drawstrings at base of leg are not allowed to be worn on the ice.
- Headphones/earbuds are not permitted to be worn on the ice during club sessions.
- No photos or recordings of any kind are to be made of other skaters during open sessions without their permission.
- Children under the age of 14 may not be left unattended during club sessions.
