This class is aimed at skaters who have passed Elementary or Novice 1 level and have started working towards 1 foot edges (forwards/backwards, inside/outside edges), forwards crossovers, and all forward and backward edges from a standstill. Please see KiwiSkate levels for more information on the skills for these levels.

Term end: 7 September 2025
Please note that per our Helmet Policy, skaters who are at Basic level will be required to wear a helmet, and head protection is recommended for all other skaters.
You should aim to be at the rink at least 15 minutes before the class begins to ensure adequate time to fit skates
