This workshop is for skaters working at Advanced or Proficiency levels.
Skaters will take part in a coached group warm-up followed by edges and turns, jumps, and spins, working at their own level within the group. The warm-up and edge skills will be a primary focus for all skaters, with linking skills and footwork woven throughout as foundations for choreography. The jumps and spins component is built around foundational building blocks, with extensions available for those working towards axels and doubles. Alternatives will be provided for skaters whose goals are more focused on edges, turns, and skating quality rather than jumps and spins.
