Youth Beginner (age 7 to 14) Term 2, 2026

These beginner lessons are for youth aged 7 to 14 years who are just starting on their skating journey, or have started on their journey but would like more time to feel confident stopping, skating forwards and backwards, using swizzles/bubbles, and gliding on 1 foot.
This block of six classes will be held on Sunday mornings:
10 May 2026 – 9.30am
17 May 2026 – NO LESSONS
24 May 2026 – 9.30am
31 May 2026 – 9.30am
7 June 2026 – 9.30am
14 June 2026 – 9.300am
21 June 2026 – 9.30am
ITEMS TO BRING
- Helmet – please note skaters in our beginner classes are required to wear a helmet for their lesson. The rink has helmets available if you don’t have your own.
- Gloves.
- Warm, non-restrictive clothing. No Jeans or flared pants.
You should aim to be at the rink at least 15 minutes before the class begins to ensure adequate time to fit skates.
